Some highlights of ProWein Düsseldorf 2024

Bodegas Tarón won the Countryside Awards 2024 in the Best Company/Cooperative category for its social commitment in Rioja Alta, outstanding wine quality, and regional involvement. This honor, organized by Diario La Rioja and CaixaBank, acknowledges contributions to La Rioja’s agricultural sector. The award highlights the cooperative’s dedication, including supporting local sports and initiatives, and builds on prior recognition as Cooperative of the Year by Tim Atkin. The awards ceremony will be held at the University of La Rioja on November 20. 

Tenuta Carretta estate is a part of the Langhe-Roero and Monferrato wine district, an extraordinary territory that was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2014.

It all started in 1870 when Henriette Ternois, winemaker at Château Figeac, bought the first plot of what would become “Château LA GRACE DIEU les Menuts”.

The Joseph Janoueix family has been perpetuating the art of vines and wine for over 100 years. The reputation of its wines has been built by the constant search for quality and respect of its customers. The Joseph Janoueix house remains united and continues to perfect the company.
